Applying Precision Score for an educational client

Challenge
Our client faced challenges with student dropouts, which prompted the need to identify and understand the reasons behind these dropouts and to implement appropriate interventions.

Solution
We knew that certain factors, such as attendance, impacted churn but we wanted to understand what makes a high-risk student before they start attending the modules, which could only be uncovered through a complex AI data model.

We built Precision Score, a live audience scoring mechanism to determine the likelihood of a student passing or failing. Now, the client can query an individual student, centre or course, and immediately see the likelihood of that student succeeding, based on 15 different factors.
